    嚴格控管一隻跳蚤，讓它聽到巨大的聲響時會跳到特定的高度。
     
    研究員先切除它一對腳，再產生聲響；
    跳蚤跳到了那特定的高度。
     
    研究員再切除它一對腳，再產生聲響；
    跳蚤仍舊跳到了那特定的高度。
     
    當所有的腳都被切除後，再產生聲響；
    跳蚤不再跳。
